Placement Drive : Amerigo Structural Engineers

On March 23, 2024, AWH Engineering College organized a pooled recruitment drive for Amerigo Structural Engineers, attracting civil engineering students from colleges across Kerala. The drive aimed to provide students with career opportunities and insights into the industry.

The inaugural session commenced with a warm welcome from the Placement Officer, setting the tone for the day’s events. Dr. Kavitha S Murugashan, Dean of Academics at AWH Engineering College, inaugurated the drive, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for student career development.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao, Managing Director of Amerigo Structural Engineers, delivered a motivational keynote address, inspiring students to strive for excellence in their professional endeavors. Following this, Mr. Ashish Kumar Chandran, General Manager, provided insights into the placement process and onboarding procedures at Amerigo Structural Engineers.

Ms. Jisha P, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, and Prof. Shaji P were felicitated for their contributions to the success of the event.

Subsequently, students participated in an aptitude test, followed by personal interviews for those selected. Notably, second-year civil engineering students volunteered for the drive, demonstrating their eagerness to explore career opportunities and gain practical experience.

Overall, the placement drive was a success, providing students with valuable exposure to industry practices and potential career paths. We extend our gratitude to Amerigo Structural Engineers for their participation and support in nurturing future talent.
